How to use Jesmonite AC100 — Step by Step
Mixing ratio: 2.5 parts AC100 Base (powder) to 1 part AC100 Liquid, by weight.
- Prepare — Work in a warm, dry area, 18–25°C.
- Measure — Weigh 2.5 parts Base and 1 part Liquid into a clean bowl.
- Add pigment — Mix pigment into Liquid first (up to 2% by total weight).
- Mix — Add Base to Liquid, mix 2–3 minutes until lump-free and smooth.
- Cast — Pour a face coat first, then fill the mould. Tap gently to release bubbles.
- Cure — Leave 25–30 minutes. Full strength after 24 hours.
- Demould — Flex silicone moulds gently to release.
- Seal — For water-facing use, apply a water-based acrylic sealer.
