HOW TO USE Haksons ECO100
Set out a clean, dry mould, mixing container, scale and mixing tool. Work on a protected, level surface.
Weigh 1 part Haksons ECO100 Liquid to 2.5 parts Haksons ECO100 Base. Example: 100 g liquid + 250 g base = 350 g total mix.
If colouring, disperse compatible pigment into the liquid before adding the powder. Follow the pigment's recommended loading.
Working time is approximately 5 minutes. Gradually add the weighed base to the liquid and stir thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom, until smooth.
Pour carefully into the prepared mould. Gently tap the mould if needed to help trapped air escape.
Allow approximately 25 minutes before carefully demoulding. Timing can vary with room conditions and the size of your cast.
A few things
worth knowing.
What is Haksons ECO100?
Haksons ECO100 is a water-based acrylic composite casting system developed in India. It comes as a liquid and a powder base that you weigh and mix together.
What is the Haksons ECO100 mixing ratio?
Use 2.5 parts Haksons ECO100 Base to 1 part Haksons ECO100 Liquid by weight. For example, combine 250 g base with 100 g liquid to make 350 g of mixed material. Use a weighing scale, not volume measurements.
Do I add the powder or liquid first?
Measure the liquid first. If you're using a compatible pigment, disperse it in the liquid. Then gradually add the weighed powder and mix thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom.
Can I use silicone moulds?
Silicone moulds are a practical option for decorative casting. Make sure your mould is clean, dry, stable and suitable for the shape you're casting.
How long does Haksons ECO100 take to set and demould?
Haksons ECO100 has an approximate 5-minute working time and can typically be demoulded after about 25 minutes. Temperature, mould and casting thickness may affect timing. The instant reveal in our studio is a simulation.

Rooted in India.
For years, we brought Jesmonite® to makers across India. We loved seeing what people created with it.
Along the way, we started asking a question: could we develop a casting material of our own?
That curiosity became Haksons ECO100 — a mineral-based casting system paired with a specially formulated acrylic liquid, developed through years of working with makers.
