How to Use?
How to Use the Half Face Mask with Double Cartridge
1. Inspection Before Use: Before each use, inspect the mask for any signs of damage. Ensure that the cartridges are properly attached and that the mask components, such as the straps and valves, are in good working condition.
-
2. Donning the Mask:
Place the mask over your nose and mouth, and pull the head harness over the crown of your head.
Take the bottom straps in both hands and hook them behind your neck.
Adjust the tension of the straps to fit snugly by pulling the ends of the straps until the mask fits securely but comfortably against your face.
-
3. Seal Check:
Perform a positive pressure seal check by covering the exhalation valve and exhale gently. If the facepiece bulges slightly and no air leaks are detected between the face and the facepiece, a proper seal has been obtained.
Perform a negative pressure seal check by covering the filters with your hands and inhaling gently. If the mask collapses slightly and no air leaks are detected, the seal is good.
-
4. During Use:
Breathe normally through the mask.
If you detect any smell or taste of epoxy resin, or if breathing becomes difficult, leave the contaminated area immediately and check the mask for proper fit and seal.
-
5. Removing the Mask:
To remove the mask, loosen the bottom straps first, then the top straps, and pull the mask away from the face.
Do not touch the front of the mask or the cartridges, as they may be contaminated.
-
6. Filter Replacement:
Replace the filter cartridges every 40 hours of use or sooner if breathing resistance increases or breakthrough occurs
