#37 Signature Spectra Platter

#37 Signature Spectra Platter

Welcome to Day 37 of our 100 Days 100 Designs challenge! Today, we’re excited to share our latest creation – the “Signature Spectra Platter,” a stunning combination of wood and vibrant resin colors.

Materials Used:

Materials used:
1. Platter Mould
2. Wooden Pieces
3. Haksons Ultra Clear
4. Haksons Pearl Pigments - Spectra Pink, Pastel Blue
5. Mirka - Deros
6. Rubio Monocoat

Step-by-Step Process:

1. Preparing the Mould:

We started by placing a wooden piece covering half of the platter mould.

2. Mixing the Resin:

We then split Haksons Ultra Clear Resin into two halves, mixing spectra pink pearl pigment in one half and pastel blue pearl pigment in the other.

3. Pouring the Resin:

We poured the resin simultaneously on the non-wood half of the mould, covering about 10 mm, and waited for it to cure. We repeated this step to build up the layers.

4. Finishing:

Once the resin layers were fully cured, we sent the platter to @sidr_studio, where it was beautifully sanded using @mirkaindia's Deros.
