#22 Neon Burst Canvas

#22 Neon Burst Canvas

Welcome to Day 22 of our 100 Days 100 Designs challenge! Today, we’re excited to share our latest creation – the “Neon Burst Canvas,” featuring vibrant fluorescent pigments and resin.

Materials Used:

1. 4 small round canvases (about 4 inch diameter)

2. Haksons Prime Art Resin (2:1)

3. White opaque pigment

4. Haksons Fluorescent pigments (Dark blue, neon yellow, neon orange, neon pink)

5. Heat gun / hair dryer

Step-by-Step Process:

1. Preparing the Resin:

We started by mixing Haksons Prime Art Resin (2:1) with white opaque pigment.

2. Dividing and Coloring:

We divided the resin into five cups, keeping one cup white. In the other four cups, we mixed Haksons Fluorescent pigments (Dark blue, neon yellow, neon orange, neon pink).

3. Pouring the Resin:

We first poured the white resin in the center of the canvas to create a round shape. Then, we poured the different colours one by one in the middle, allowing them to spread.

4. Creating the Abstract Pattern:

Using a heat gun or hair dryer, we blew over the resin to create an abstract pattern and develop cells.
