Welcome to Day 26 of our 100 Days 100 Designs challenge! Today, we’re excited to share our latest creation – the “Botanical Resin and Jesmonite Art,” featuring intricate plant designs using resin, acrylic paint, and Jesmonite AC100. This beautiful piece was created by the fab @painting.palette.
Materials Used:
1. 8 inch round silicone mould
2. Ultra clear resin
3. Acrylic paint
4. Jesmonite AC100
Step-by-Step Process:
1. Pouring the Base Layer:
We first poured a very thin layer of ultra clear resin to cover the base of the 8 inch round silicone mould.
2. Creating the Design:
Once the resin layer cured, we used acrylic paint to create a botanical design featuring plants and the sun.
3. Adding the Jesmonite Pattern:
After the acrylic paint dried, we used Jesmonite AC100 to create a pattern with different colours, carefully detailing the design with precise pouring techniques.
