Which epoxy resin should I buy?
Start with the job. Choose Ultra Clear for clear casting and wood + resin, Prime Art when you want a thick high-viscosity resin with more control, High Gloss for a thin glossy top coat, and Prime Cast for everyday mould casting.
Is Prime Art a thick resin?
Yes. Haksons Prime Art is the thick, high-viscosity resin in this range. That extra body gives you more control in artwork, geodes, small moulds and colour-heavy pours.
Which resin should I use for a river table?
For a clear wood-and-resin project, start with Haksons Ultra Clear. Always follow the recommended pour depth and working instructions for the size of your project.
Which resin should I use for a glossy coating?
Use Haksons High Gloss when you want a thin, smooth, self-levelling glossy surface coat. Prime Art is thicker and is better when you want more control rather than a thin top coat.
Can I use one resin for everything?
Sometimes, but you usually compromise on flow, control or finish. Choosing the resin for the job gives you a more predictable result.
What can I colour epoxy resin with?
Use resin-compatible opaque pigments, transparent colour, pearl or mica pigments, and fluorescent powders depending on the effect you want.
