Welcome to Day 18 of our 100 Days 100 Designs challenge! Today, we’re excited to share our latest creation – the “Colour Drop Druzy,” featuring vibrant colour drops and a clear resin coat.
Materials Used:
1. Circular druzy silicone mould
2. Haksons Prime Cast (3:1)
3. Haksons Colour Drops Pigments
4. Candy stick
Step-by-Step Process:
1. Preparing the Resin:
We started by mixing Haksons Prime Cast (3:1) with different colour drops pigments in separate glasses.
2. Adding Colour Drops:
Using a candy stick, we placed different colour drops in various spots across the mould.
3. Clear Resin Coat:
While the colour drops were still wet, we applied a clear coat of Haksons Prime Cast over them. This technique allowed the colours to blend beautifully and create a stunning effect.
4. Curing:
We let the resin cure completely to reveal the final design.
